Training: Art Foundation, Canterbury; Illustration, Brighton College of Art: 1981 B.A. Honours Degree in Art and Design (Tutors included Raymond Briggs, Justin Todd and John Vernon Lord).
Illustrated Books: First book "Teddy's First Christmas" published in 1982 by Collins 17 books published over a twelve year period, including four board books published by Methuen. Also published in the USA by Holt, Rinehart and Winston and in Europe by Carlsen. Included in the Good Book Guide and nominated for the Kate Greenaway award.
Craft Publications: "Tapestry Cats and Dogs" published in 1995 by David and Charles presented over 25 original needleprint designs. Numerous needlecraft projects/articles for magazines including "Needlecraft", "Needlework" and "Creative Stitches". Contributions to books series "Crafts Made Easy" including chapters on fabric painting, glass painting and painting on wood.
Craft Designs: Produced and designed needlecraft Art Deco face cushions for Henri Bendel store in New York and a popular series of Staffordshire Dog and Emile Gallé inspired cushions exclusively for the Brighton Pavilion shop.
Exhibitions: London Royal Academy (at the age of 13), Annual Brighton Festival Artist Open House.since 1997.
Architectural Drawings: Pushkin House, Hotel Du Vin, Gallery Vivienne, Kemp Town Conservation and others.
Interior Design: Pushkin House Trust, Bloomsbury Square, London and numerous home, restaurant and office commissions.
